Emily focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes across federal and state courts.
Emily’s commercial litigation experience includes various breach of contract disputes, consumer cases, and defamation lawsuits. On these cases, Emily has drafted pleadings, various motions and briefs, and has conducted research to further resolve legal issues.
Additionally, Emily has worked on various healthcare fraud cases including cases involving the False Claims Act and anti-kickback statutes. Emily has assisted on both civil and criminal government investigations.
As a student attorney at the Immigration Law Clinic at the University of Illinois, Emily has counseled clients through critical immigration proceedings such as asylum petitions and family-based petitions.
