Overview
Meggan has twenty years of experience as a large firm, judicial, and in-house attorney.
She has an extensive background in civil litigation, negotiation, mediation, drafting of commercial contracts, and legal team management. Meggan has participated in all phases of litigation and appellate proceedings before state and federal courts and regulatory agencies, including discovery, motion practice, and trial.
Prior to joining Benesch, Meggan served as Law Clerk to the Honorable John R. Adams and the Honorable Donald C. Nugent with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, where she advised the Court on the proper application of legal principles in cases involving multiple areas of law, including patent, mass tort, healthcare, product liability, employment, civil rights, and commercial contract.
