“Patrick has a great demeanor and really gained the trust of our internal clients. As outside counsel, Patrick is among those few people that I trust implicitly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing litigation support.”

Throughout his career, Patrick has helped clients across industries address some of their most complicated and sensitive problems. Clients not only trust Patrick’s judgment and ability to see the big picture, but they also turn to Patrick for his partnership and collaboration. Patrick has extensive experience handling every stage of litigation for Fortune 100 companies as well as individuals and local businesses. Patrick is a leader who strives for excellence and delivers results for every client, every time.

For over a decade, Patrick has litigated cases across the country, including local, state, and federal court. Patrick has handled arbitrations before JAMS and AAA. He has also argued several appeals before the Seventh Circuit. This breadth of jurisdictional experience reduces ramp-up time for new matters and ensures that Patrick can capably step in to any matter. Likewise, Patrick has advised Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 companies on matters ranging from sensitive internal investigations to “bet the company” trials. While Patrick has focused on recent years on class actions and multi-district litigation, Patrick’s true specialty is client service. Patrick zealously represents and advocates for his clients and he is an excellent communicator who understands clients’ needs, businesses, and interests.

Patrick also maintains an active pro bono practice where he assists prisoners with constitutional claims and parents appealing wrongful indications from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Prior to attending law school, Patrick worked as a 6th grade English teacher in Kansas City, Missouri. He also started a nonprofit educational organization and established a literacy and GED program in the largest county jail in Oregon. Patrick is also an Eagle Scout and has volunteered for a variety of civic organizations in Chicago.
