Overview

Philip’s work includes the preparation and prosecution of patents, both in the U.S. and internationally. Additionally, he counsels clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate, patent landscapes, and patent portfolio strategy and development.

Philip has experience working with clients of all sizes and backgrounds, and has experience working in a broad range of technology areas such as automotive, mechanical, medical device, consumer products, and software – including artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Prior to joining Benesch, Philip worked as a patent agent at large international law firms and has work experience in the aerospace industry. Philip utilizes his technical and legal background to guide clients through the patent process and obtain strong patent protection.
