Overview
Scott’s practice area includes advising clients across the energy sector.
He brings experience as a former state regulator at the Illinois Commerce Commission’s Office of General Counsel where he practiced for two years. Today, he parlays that experience to help guide clients before regulatory commissions.
Additionally, Scott works closely with energy-sector clients to provide regulatory advice and practical guidance. He serves as outside counsel for rate increase requests, utility reconciliation proceedings, rulemakings, and various energy efficiency matters. Prior to practicing in the energy-sector, Scott served as an attorney for Legal Aid of Nebraska, representing juveniles in Nebraska across numerous matters.
