Benesch is proud to announce that the firm has been named a 2025 NorthCoast 99 award winner, marking 23 consecutive years of recognition among the top workplaces in Northeast Ohio. As one of the longest-standing recipients, this honor reflects Benesch’s commitment to cultivating a culture where employees thrive and take pride in contributing to the firm’s mission.
Organized by the Employers Resource Council (ERC), the NorthCoast 99 program celebrates the 99 top-performing workplaces in Northeast Ohio that excel in attracting, retaining and motivating top talent. Since its inception in 1999, the award has become one of the region’s most prestigious workplace accolades.
“Benesch is defined by our people and our focus has always been on building a culture rooted in respect, teamwork and trust,” said Benesch Chief Human Resources Officer Liz Gillmore. “We want our attorneys and staff to feel engaged and empowered, and our clients to feel confident in the service we provide. Receiving this award is a meaningful acknowledgment of those efforts.”
To earn a place on the NorthCoast 99 list, organizations undergo a rigorous evaluation process that includes direct employee feedback and benchmarks across 22 counties. Companies are assessed in key areas such as organizational strategy, policies and benefits, talent attraction and onboarding, employee well-being, engagement and development, total rewards and inclusion.
This honor follows Benesch being named a 2025 Top Workplace in New York, Cleveland and San Francisco, and being named to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list.
