Benesch is pleased to announce that Joseph N. Gross has been elected President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) for the 2020-2021 year.
“This is an honor for me. I have been involved with the CMBA for the majority of my legal career,” said Gross. “The CMBA is a tremendous organization dedicated to advancing the legal profession and supporting attorneys in Northeast Ohio in their professional development and efforts to give back to the community. I feel good about leading the CMBA during this moment in history, and helping it move forward in terms of membership, programming, leadership development and thought leadership. I can assure our members and all of Northeast Ohio that the CMBA will not only be a welcoming and inclusive place, but one that will be the go-to organization on all matters of law and justice.”
The CMBA is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to serving the needs of legal professionals in Greater Cleveland. A voluntary membership organization, its members include attorneys and judges, law students, paralegals, and other business professionals. This membership serves as the collective voice of the legal profession in Cleveland, both bench and bar. In March 2008, the Cleveland Bar Association and the Cuyahoga County Bar Association combined more than 135 years of rich history to create the unified Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. As a result, the CMBA serves the largest legal community in Ohio.
