Mary focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions with a particular emphasis on the wireless industry. With over 14 years of experience representing clients in telecommunications transactions nationwide, she brings deep subject-matter knowledge to every engagement. Since joining Benesch in 2022, Mary has become a leader on the firm’s Telecommunications Team and has successfully closed over 100 transactions across 41 states while acting as outside counsel for major institutional clients, including large private equity funds and their communications infrastructure portfolio companies. These transactions encompass over 400 assets and almost half a billion dollars, spanning the full spectrum of wireless infrastructure assets and deal types — from single rooftop antenna installations to large multi-site tower portfolios.

Mary’s significant telecommunications experience translates seamlessly to other asset classes, enabling her to provide a wide range of clients with sophisticated real estate counsel. She has extensive experience in commercial property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, environmental reviews, and leading large-scale due diligence reviews in portfolio transactions for healthcare, corporate, transportation, and industrial clients. Her practice encompasses every phase of the deal lifecycle — from drafting and negotiating purchase agreements to managing site diligence, overseeing title transfer, and handling post-closing matters — and she is adept at identifying issues in complex transactions and resolving material obstacles to ensure deals close.
