Overview

Peter is an Associate in Benesch’s corporate practice group and focuses his practice on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as public and privately held companies, in a wide range of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, and other strategic transactions across diverse industries. He also advises privately held companies on general corporate and transactional matters, including restructurings, corporate governance, and general day-to-day corporate law matters.

Prior to joining Benesch, Peter externed for the Hon. Judge J. Philip Calabrese at the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, gaining significant experience in performing various legal research and writing tasks, including authoring draft judicial opinions. Peter also served as an extern in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, drafting substantive trial briefs, motions, and memorandums on behalf of the U.S. government, as well as assisting federal prosecutors and the Cleveland FBI with trial and witness preparation. 

Peter earned his law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and is licensed to practice in Ohio and Florida.
