Law360 Highlights Benesch’s Addition of 20-Lawyer Real Estate Finance Team and Expansion into Miami

Benesch was featured in Law360 for its significant expansion of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group through the addition of a premier real estate finance and structured finance team from Reed Smith, as well as the launch of its new Miami office. The move further strengthens Benesch’s national platform and expands its capabilities in commercial real estate finance, structured finance, securitization and complex lending matters.

The incoming group is led by Jodi Schwimmer, former global co-lead of Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group, and veteran real estate finance attorney Randy Eckers. The team also includes partners Michael Estreicher, Alexander “A.J.” Sokoloff and Amanda Rapp, along with additional attorneys and professional staff. Together, the group brings extensive experience advising banks, debt funds, private equity firms, institutional investors and other market participants across the full spectrum of commercial real estate finance transactions.
