Wild Received Bennett and Donna Yanowitz Leadership Award and Kaplan Received Irving Stone Award

CLEVELAND, OH – December 28, 2009 – Benesch is pleased to announce that partner Jeffrey J. Wild has received the Bennett and Donna Yanowitz Leadership Award from the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, and managing partner Ira C. Kaplan has received the Irving Stone Award from the Menorah Park Center for Senior Living.
The Bennett and Donna Yanowitz Leadership Award recognizes the effort, energy and achievement of an individual 40 years or younger who has clearly demonstrated commitment, involvement and leadership within the Cleveland Jewish community. The Irving Stone Award honors a Menorah Park board member who has demonstrated commitment and whose active involvement has made a difference during his/her early tenure on the board.
Mr. Wild is a partner and Vice-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on commercial financing, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and development. He has extensive experience in the negotiation of all types of development and financing documents.
Mr. Kaplan is the firm’s Managing Partner and serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions as well as public and private debt and equity financings. Mr. Kaplan represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth. He has been involved in planning for growth companies, helping to position them for various stages of private financing and anticipated public offerings. Mr. Kaplan also represents private equity, subordinated debt and venture funds as well as portfolio companies of such funds.
