Overview

Abigail maintains a broad litigation practice representing corporations, financial institutions, shareholders and executives in complex disputes in state and federal courts and arbitrations nationwide.

A zealous advocate for her clients, Abigail works tirelessly to ensure her clients receive rigorous and thoughtful representation. Her experience spans a wide range of matters, including white collar criminal defense, breach of contract and fraud disputes, false advertising, securities litigation, employment litigation, and government and internal investigations. She regularly represents clients in enforcement actions brought by the New York Attorney General, as well as in DOJ and SEC investigations.

Prior to joining Benesch, Abigail was an associate at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (US) LLP, where she developed much of her experience as a well-rounded litigator. She also served as a member of the Associates Committee.

In addition to her primary practice, Abigail dedicates a significant amount of time to pro bono work, primarily focused on First Amendment litigation, reproductive rights advocacy and privacy invasions. She has also represented clients in asylum proceedings and in family law and matrimonial matters, including on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
