As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm has announced the hiring of a pair of associates in its Cleveland office.
Benesch is pleased to welcome associates Lauren E. Lipsyc and Nathan H. Boninger. Lauren joins the firm’s Real Estate and Environmental Practice Group, while Nathan joins the Litigation Practice Group.

Lauren focuses her practice on real estate matters spanning retail, manufacturing, office, hospitality, industrial, health care, and other commercial industries. She regularly drafts a variety of transactional documents based on unique circumstances, analyzes title, survey, and zoning matters, and advises clients throughout each stage of their deals.
Lauren has also gained experience in a broad range of business areas, including commercial finance and banking, tax, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and estates and trusts. Additionally, she is experienced in analyzing, interpreting, and advising on complex agency regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Lauren’s broad exposure to numerous areas of law gives her a useful perspective and enables her to support clients across many types of matters and industries.
Nathan has experience representing clients in a variety of cases in state and federal court, including contract disputes, class actions, and numerous other complex commercial matters. From the drafting of initial pleadings to engaging in discovery to dispositive motion practice, Nathan has experience advocating on behalf of his clients to successfully resolve litigation. Prior to joining Benesch, Nathan clerked for the Honorable Pamela A. Barker of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Lauren and Nathan are two of over 50 new attorneys to join Benesch so far in 2021. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, Benesch has advanced 32 places and is currently ranked at number 164.
