Laura focuses her practice on private equity, mezzanine lending, senior lending, and institutional and syndicated transactions. Her practice also includes sell-side and buy-side M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, ESOP financings, equipment financing, and other liquidity events.

Laura represents investors, lenders, and administrative agents in structuring, negotiating and protecting their debt and equity investments. She represents middle-market companies and their stakeholders in a variety of critical growth transactions including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and other liquidity events. She also works with clients in workout or restructuring scenarios and negotiates with critical constituents to gain economic visibility and preserve investment value.

Laura has been recognized since 2014 for her work in Banking and Finance by Chambers USA. Chambers USA 2020 notes that Laura offers “strengths in handling financing aspects of complex transactional work, including public M&A and private equity deals. Clients describe her as ‘attentive and thoughtful’ and note her skills as a ‘confident negotiator.’” Laura also has been described by Chambers USA sources as “a very talented banking and finance lawyer,” with one client calling her “extremely responsive, prompt and detailed in her work product.”
