Manish is a member of Benesch’s Executive Committee and the Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Chicago office, where he leads with a focus on intellectual property (IP) litigation, post-grant reviews, patent prosecution and strategic IP counseling. With a robust track record across a variety of federal courts and jurisdictions, Manish has successfully represented clients from diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, e-commerce, chemicals, and computer software and hardware.

Manish develops, creates and manages comprehensive IP portfolios tailored to align with his clients’ business objectives. His deep understanding of the intersection between IP strategy and business goals makes him a trusted advisor. A seasoned litigator, Manish’s extensive experience spans all facets of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, witness preparation, expert reports and pretrial strategy and preparation. He has played pivotal roles in claim construction hearings and has taken the lead in numerous cases, navigating the complexities of IP law with precision.

In addition to his litigation prowess, Manish has significant experience in inter partes review and reexamination proceedings. On the transactional side, he is well-versed in rendering freedom-to-operate and patentability opinions and is experienced in preparing patent applications in the mechanical and electromechanical fields. His breadth of experience and strategic insight make him an invaluable partner to clients looking to build, protect and leverage their intellectual property assets.
