Shivdutt is a dual qualified lawyer (New York and India) who focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) and technology transactions.
He regularly assists clients in structuring, drafting and negotiating complex technology transactions, including professional services, managed services, software development & licensing and reseller arrangements. Shivdutt has also assisted clients in managing, acquiring and commercializing their IP portfolio. His transactional practice also includes conducting due diligence on IP and data privacy issues in M&A deals.
Previously, Shivdutt has worked as an M&A lawyer focusing on deal structuring and preparing diligence reports for the purposes of risk assessment. He has also worked in the public interest sector, where he focused on implementing system reform projects for victims of commercial sexual exploitation.
