Overview
Andrew is a full-service real estate attorney, with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate finance. He advises clients on a wide range of real property transactions, including loan originations, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters. Andrew routinely assists clients with due diligence review, the negotiation and drafting of purchase, sale, and financing documents, and the coordination of complex closings.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Andrew spent two summers with Benesch gaining early exposure to sophisticated transactional matters. That experience shaped his pragmatic approach to client service, emphasizing responsiveness, teamwork, and strong attention to detail.

Experience
Represented a real estate investment firm in connection with its more than $250 million acquisition of over 100 veterinary clinics across the United States.
Represented a national financial institution as administrative agent and lender in connection with a syndicated term loan facility supporting the acquisition of a portfolio of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across New York. The transaction involved a complex, multi‑tiered real property healthcare financing structure, including delayed‑draw term loans for post‑closing acquisitions and layered intercreditor and subordination arrangements.
Represented a large private credit lender on two loan facilities totaling $197.5 million, secured by 59 properties across more than 20 states. Benesch served as co-counsel, leading all diligence efforts and handling recordable loan documents and opinion workstreams.
Represented a major multifamily developer in the financing and joint venture of a multifamily development for $70 million.
Represented a major multifamily developer in the financing and development of a multifamily property for $61 million.
Represented a client in the $11.25 million sale of a 26-acre lakefront residential property in Illinois.
Represented a real estate investment trust in lending $53 million loan to refinance an apartment complex.
