Shannon is a paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, bringing more than 25 years of experience in commercial and corporate real estate. She assists attorneys and clients in all phases of real estate transactions and has extensive experience coordinating and reviewing title, survey, and zoning matters, drafting and reviewing real estate documents, tracking deadlines and the status of large volumes of documents, and facilitating communication among transaction parties.
Shannon is known for her organized approach, attention to detail, and ability to help keep complex matters moving efficiently. Her thorough review, responsive communication, and reliable support contribute to the firm’s commitment to providing professional, client-centered legal service.
Experience
Represented a national financial institution as administrative agent and lender in connection with a syndicated term loan facility supporting the acquisition of a portfolio of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across New York. The transaction involved a complex, multi‑tiered real property healthcare financing structure, including delayed‑draw term loans for post‑closing acquisitions and layered intercreditor and subordination arrangements.
Represented a publicly traded REIT in a $150+ million acquisition of 23 strip shopping centers in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, Texas, Virginia and Indiana.
Represented a large West Coast REIT in the acquisition of two large multi-family properties in California for a total purchase price of $240.5 Million. Acquisition included extensive environmental review and analysis.

Represented The NRP Group LLC in a more than $45 million joint venture financing for the construction and development of a multifamily project in Princeton, Texas.
Advised a leading international investment and management firm, performing all diligence and related needs for their purchase of loans in default for a total of over $600 million and subsequent foreclosures of more than 70 properties in California.
Represented Loar Holdings Inc., a diversified manufacturer and supplier of niche aerospace and defense components, in its acquisition of Applied Avionics, Inc., a manufacturer of highly engineered avionics interface solutions catering to the aviation industry, valued at $385 million.
Represented a large private equity fund in connection with its acquisition of twenty-one retail/industrial properties in a more than $40 million NNN sale-leaseback portfolio transaction.
